Image is not only anything visual to the eye, but what's seen beyond that image. This discussion in one of the first meetings this semester left my mind blown. Nobody ever thinks of the picture behind the picture, that's in all actually behind the picture. Images can change within a blink of an eye, so as your perspective of it. Typing a random word into Google images and seeing the results that came up was an exercise that taught me that everything we see can be categorized into the who's the intended audience, who created it, and an making a hypothetical guess on how people would perceive the image. We as a class was able to fill the white board with a ton of different words describing images and what makes them. Everybody had their own opinion, but they all tied back to image. So in all, I was more in tuned with the discussion about image.
